Okay I came up with a total cost for the equipment I need after pulling an all-nighter. Here's a list and cost of all the equipment I'm getting. I'd like to hear what you guys have to say. Before you read, I will say I'm not going to do FPV setup and my plan is to have a real estate aerial picture business (is a phantom and gopro optimal for that), as well as promotional video for businesses (how good of quality does a 5D offer?) I also don't have included "crashcopters" for my employees to train on. As I'm typing this, I'm realizing gaps already.haha Anyways, take a look and let me know what you think. Not included in here is insurance on equipment and also a 30% increase as a buffer for extra parts and damages/accidents.

Total costs: $33,100 (with 30% increase buffer)

Also, you might want to consider the cost of your time to learn how to fly, take care of, and repair the copter.
One thing's for sure: it is not for the fiscally faint-hearted! :)

    Andy.
