Any experience out there attaching a Freefly toad to a jib underslung in a 100mm bowl?

Nope, but make sure it is mounted well. I had my toad come detached. I suspect I hadn't fully engaged the leaver with a cable stuck in it that got pulled free. I then suspect further tangling of the cables pushes the saftey buttons. Someone else also experienced a detach. Keep the toad cable free. You would not want that falling off a jib.

    Ouch - nasty!

I think what we are going to try is tap one side of a 1/2" thick aluminum billet with a 3/8" 16 screw hole. That will screw onto a half ball mounted in an inverted bowl. The reverse side of the billet we will tap 4 M3 screw holes and attach the toad.

We will see if it works - will send pics.
