Ok try this. On the Roll uncheck the DSM2-1024 check box. Also set AUX to 0. Check on your transmitter, assuming you are using a 3 position switch, that the switch is showing full deflections and centering. Reason I mention this is that the Mode slider is barely into the orange band and may not be fully turning the Radians on. I think you can see the reaction of various servos on one of the DX screens. In the center switch position the Green Bar should be dead center and the value in the channel monitor should be ZERO. Mode Off should be a -128 and with Slew turned on should be a +128.

I would also suggest that you put the roll and tilt Radians into Bootloader mode and reinstall the firmware if the first paragraph doesn't fix it.

And lastly some photos of your installation if all of the above doesn't help.

thanks for helping gary, but it is still the same.
this time in watching what i was doing yesterday i might not have pressed read. i took another screen shot of the roll and noticed that the servo out on the roll and tilt are at 68% all the time when turned on
    any suggestions?

On roll turn the Slew and Aux to 0. Can you send some photos? And you are connecting the programming cable to each Radian one at a time? Probably a dumb question but there have been folks that thought they could connect to one and program them all.

That's not a dumb question as if you look at the program it looks like you can and what I did yesterday. But today I figured out that you need to hook up each one and that's when I saw the servo always on on the roll and tilt.
On the roll if I turn the aux to 0 then I am unable to trigger the camera. I will turn to 0 to try and fix the problem. Will take photo and post also.
Also to answer one of your earlier questions I am only using a 2 position switch to turn system oboe off from the Sprktrum DX6I I don't have any 3 position switches

Ok, the issue with a two position switch is that you want it to read full off (-128) and then full on (+128). Your readouts don't seem to be indicating full deflection. Do you have a rotary knob that could act as the mode controller?

thanks for your help and patience
no rotary knob just a straight dx6i setup
i changed the switch (landing gear) travel adjust to max 125% and now get better deflection but not what you recommend. but now when the switch is off the yellow stops flashing and the green flashes normal like the pan (which is working good) when i switch it on then the roll and tilt green light solid and yellow fast flashing pan works fine. i adjusted the sub trim up on the gear to 100% to get higher number on the on. it went up to about 120 but no different on lights

Strange, your screen shots look ok. Next step is for you to post a video showing power up with Radians in the off position then flipping the switch to the on position. Need to see the flashing lights. And one last question, you have installed the small resistor packs on each of the servos?

the resistor is in all three. Check that before turning on as one time found it had fallen off.
video of problem let me know if this is ok as with an Iphone and not very good. Password: problem

Ok it looks like you have some motor problems. This is the difference between the flashing orange.

Fast orange = waiting for the motor to move in the right direction.

Slow orange = IMU self test fail

Try swapping the Pan with the Roll, reprogram them to the appropriate operation and see what happens.

Changed them out and the radians are working fine with the pan motor. But the pan radian is giving the same symptoms when hooked up to the roll or tilt motor. Looks like I have bad motors? Anything to try to fix them?
If bad strange that they both went at the same time. But looks like the radians are still good as was showing in the software.

Move the pan resistor to the another servo, the one that now has the Pan Radian. Only the last thing to check is the resistors.

Sounds like a couple of bad servos. What voltage are you running into the Radians?

Do you think putting a diode inline to reduce the voltage a little might be a good idea? Any suggestions ?
