Freefly has only ONE thin Lemo cable for RED touch and they've stated they dont work with 7" red touch monitors. anyone have a source for THIN Lemo cables that are campatable with ALL RED monitors?
I think Media Blackout claims the bug is in the monitor, not the cable, and it looks like they're out of stock. My Hyperthin RED LCD cables have always worked with the 5" touchscreens, but haven't used the 7" with them. You could try posting on the Facebook page of the Cinema Electronics Forum.
I can confirm the issue stems from a firmware update in the camera. We had numerous customers using our HYPERflex cables with the 7" monitor for more than a year, before finally performing a firmware update, and suddenly it doesn't work any more.
