with my movi pro I got a lead to lanc for my sony FS7 I was hoping to start/stop the camera using this lead and my Mimic. Is this possible and if so how. Thanks
Hey Sam, yes this is possible. I just got this to work yesterday with my Movi pro/sony fs7/mimic/ps4 controller. I had to make sure the MP and mimic were on the same (1.5) firmware and then connect the molex to Lanc connector from the movi pro to the fs7. I was able to use the gamepad to record trigger as well as just the mimic. On the app you need to change the "camera setting" to Blackmagic, not Sony, for whatever reason that's the way I read about it working, and can confirm that it doesn't work when set to Sony but does when set to Blackmagic - at least for record start/stop capabilities when set up as described.
