    Hey Guys,

In this video above Tabb talks about setting three flight modes for the Cam Op around 16:30. I really want this function for my Cam Op, but I am having trouble even finding how to do this. I am running the Spektrum DX8 controller for my 3 axis gimbal. Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to set this up in the Radian software?

    Hi Michael:
See page 23 of the DX8 manual. Tabb refers to ATV, which the Adjustable Travel Volume. On the Spektrum this is "Dual Rate."
You can program up your transmitter to use switches (including the Flight Mode) switch to select different Rates and/or Exponential (which alters the sensitivity of the transmitter sticks when they are near the center point).

Page 24 tells you how to assign a switch to a given Dual Rate/Exponential.

    Hope this helps
    Andy.

Hi Andy, in using Dual rate on my Futaba 8 FG, I can get only two different settings.
No matter if I use a two or three position switch?!
    Regards from Sweden.

    Hi Janne:
On page 72 of the 8FG manual, you can see a row of switches across the bottom. You need to select the correct switch and then set the dual rate for that switch.....I know I had to experiment with it for a while...there's no sort of "set it now" operation. You just select the switch, then set the setting, then move on to the next switch.
I'm not sure that answers your question, but "it's all I got!" :)
    Andy.
