How are you guys getting power from the second battery to the camera to power accessories?

Is there a lead extension I can get?

    Hi Charles,

I use a long extension JST to Ptap connector following the other cable through the slip ring then have made various power options for different cameras or accessories.

    Hope it helps

Thanks Pete, so it does exist! Any idea where to get one of them or is a "make it" kind of thing? Would be cool if Freefly made some extensions.

    Hi Charles,

It's all made not a Freefly product.

Peter, have you powered an Epic, follow focus, and wireless using a LiPo? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Eric,

I wouldn't recommend powering off a lipo only because they don't last very long instead I use Vlock either on my handle bars or on the red camera using the Freefly Vlock plate. It all depends on the setup. If you do end up using a lipo to power say a monitor make sure you watch the voltage.
    What setup are you using?

Thanks, Peter. I've been powering everything of a V-Mount battery on my M10.
I'm trying to move everything over to the M15, however because the tips on the Stand Adapter curve down, I can't dock it properly with the battery on the crossbar. Was trying to find other solutions.

We built our battery rig to mount to the top handle. This allows us to keep the weight centered over the rig without losing room on the top handle or interfering with other accessories. Right now we have our old M10 top handle on our M15 because we haven't redesigned the battery mount for the new top handle yet. It works for us, but we've never seen another operator with the same setup.

That sounds like a good solution, Ryan. Any chance you can post a photo?

    Thanks in advance.
