I want to make a Rope Rig to be able to use the M5 on a continuous 2 floor Shot!! Can anyone have done this and what parts are needed? any pictures? Thanks ariel
We did a scene where we handed the M5 from the 1st floor to the ground with a rope. We didn't have any right equipment at the time and the rope was almost the right size so we tied only in the center of the M5 handle (scary... no redundancy). It worked fine, just remember to turn off Magestic mode on this setup, because with only one anchor point the handle will turn around. Have the MoVI carrier walk with the Magestic mode ON, as soon as he reach the point to grab the rope, turn Magestic OFF, get the MoVI down, make the second MoVI carrier grab the handles and position them pointing to the same direction as the camera is (Magestic death zone) then turn Magestic ON again.
