Roll position sensor?

    I"m converting my 2 axis gimbal to the 3 axis gimbal with the radians. I take it that since I'm using the roll radian I won't need this sensor? In the directions it doesn't show it mounted and I believe I need the extra room to mount the radian to the plate. Having the sensor off will give me the room I need plus a just a tad less weight.

    That's correct. You can (must) remove the roll potentiometer.
