Here's our latest highlight film. Most of the footage was filmed at a kayak race in North Carolina on the Green River.
Awesome stuff. Must've been exciting to fly that low when all you can hear is the sound of water rushing.
I trust you sprayed your electronics boards? Great footage -- nice to slow down the frame rate, too. Edit: I mean shoot in slo-mo. Duh. Andy.
We shot this one with a mix of the GH2 (ours) and a Canon 60D (owned by the race organizer). All the slow-mo stuff is Canon 60D. I'm glad we were able to snag some slow-mo, but I think the 60D's in-camera compression is way to harsh. You've got to "run what you brung" though. Andy, the HDMI board is sprayed, the ESCs are covered in shrink (Turnigy Plush), and the Hoverfly Pro board is fairly protected between two G10 plates. We love to play near the water!
