i lost a bolt from one of the side (vertical) bar quick releases. then i bought the m5 replacement kit, and found that that specific bolt isn't included the m3x8 and x10 are too short to go through the quick release hub thing. it looks like i need a m3x16 or x20 maybe so has anyone else had this problem? those bolts don't appear to be on offer anywhere on Freefly. can someone there help me at all? riley
Riley, Please send me an email at support@freeflysystems.com. Please include images of the exact assembly the bolt comes from, so we can verify exactly what you need. Thanks, Chris
An alternative approach is to purchase a longer M3 machine screw and cut it down to size with one of these. You do need to use a file to remove the burr that will form when you cut the bolt. Andy.
Hi Riley, you can find these screws on webshop. If you need a quick solution, you can use a Dremel tool to cut nicely a longer screw: http://www.screwsandmore.de/en/HEXA...ss-steel-A2/ISO-7380-A2-M3/ISO-7380-A2-M3X16/ http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=dremel
