Our M-15 is going to Vancouver for a long stint, and I need to prepare for rain protection. Normally I just resort to clear trashbags with conventional, handheld, or steadycam modes of shooting. Anybody come up with a method that is better? How bout something for sale? Would appreciate any advise!
I wrap the Saranwrap around the motors and then tighten it up around the booms -- hard to describe other like a horse's knee wrap: http://www.equinemagic.co.uk/shop/product/pair-of-magnetic-universal-wraps-knee-hock-and-tendon Not the best image, but... Andy.
It only takes a couple of turns -- you want the heat from the motor to dissipate but the shield around the motors to be water-resistant -- and of course allow for the cling wrap to move. Andy
Thanks Andy. If you get a chance would love to see a picture of how it looks around motor. Especially to dissipate heat and be water resistant.
