My tilt servo has become really stiff and hard to turn even by hand. No crash. This happened all of a sudden. It was working fine. Roll is OK. I tried plugging it into another receiver......nothing. Why would this happen? Any suggestions??
    Fried servo? No electronic smell......hmmmmm.
    Thanx in advance.

Hi Gary: Welcome to the forum.

Firstly if it's not too much trouble, would you be kind enough to change your user name to your real first name and last name, please? The reasons for this (and how to do it) are explained here: http://forum.freeflysystems.com/index.php?threads/real-names.497/

Secondly, you may have to remove the belt, remove the small pulley, and then undo the four screws that hold the black top on the Freefly servos -- you'll see grease-covered metal gears -- see if it's still hard to turn -- if it is, then the servo has suffered a mechanical failure and you'll need to talk to your dealer. You can get some idea of how hard is is to turn the servo pulley by checking either the pan or tilt servos so you can calibrate to "normal."

    Hope that helps
    Andy.
