SOLVED: Hello, what could have gone wrong? I try to get a Pan/Tilt thumb controller. This is a brand new system with the latest firmware. Mimic is wired to the Pilot Zoom Controller. I tried different cables. The Mimic is connected to the Movi Pro and the mapping is done as it should (ZoomX-pan, ZoomY-Tilt, Slider-Speed). I don't have a lens motor to test overall functionality. When I turn on both systems, the Movi freaks out in both axes. As the pan constantly tries to move, the tilt freezes in the same position every time. But moving the joystick has no effect at all. When I try to calibrate (which is obsolete without a lens motor) by pressing the blue button for 10s the gimbal stays calm and quiete. But still without any funcionality regarding the joystick. Then i need to do a reset to get the movi to freak out again. Help is greatly appreciated.
Solved with the help of the marvelous Goug at Freefly. It has to be calibrated, even without a motor attached.
