Wondering how some people are powering the Mimic+Monitor+Wireless Video. Would love to power everything via a V-mount battery. Anyone have any good photos of how Freefly has their setup powered?

    Bryan,

Do you know how long the IDX Endura 7s battery will power both a smallHD AC7 and a teradek/paralinx receiver for? Looking to put an order in today on the v lock handlebar kit.

Also, any advice on the perfect cable to buy for D-tap to DC to power up a DP7 or AC7 monitor? Not sure what the perfect length and such is to snag for that so there's not unnecessary cables flying around. Nothing in the freefly store to buy that resembles that yet. I'd like to mount my SmallHD monitor similar to the setup in the video with Chase Jarvis. Any recommendations there as well?

    Sam,

The power draw from the MIMIC, transmitter and AC7 should be similar to the same setup on the MōVI Controller. We are able to run that setup on the MōVI Controller for most of the day. So with two batteries, you will be good to go for a day of shooting.

The cable that comes with the Handle bar adapter kit is D-tap to DC for the AC7 and a second DC for something like the CONNEX (as we were using in the video with Chase). It is about 12" long.
