I am trying to setup the gimbal from freefly? the nick is doing fine but the roll poti is not. The poti will not compensate for the roll, but acually increases the roll direction instead of reversing to level. when I rotate the poti 180, it becomes so sensitive that it can not find a neutral position? Does this indicate a need for a new poti or different technique for setting than what is on the video?

    Hi Steve,

I think you have the roll Pot plugged into the servo backwards. Please flip the connector 180 and try again. The roll and tilt pots are made with the same polarity on the plug, but opposite polarity is needed in practice so one connector needs to be flipped. I am guessing you took the gimbal apart and are noticing this upon reassembly?

    Best,
