PID SETTINGS FOR THE CINESTAR8 AND 360 GIMBLE

    HELLO EVERYONE:)
    I FLY THE CINESTAR 8 WITH 360 MOUNT AND 13X6,5 CARBON PROPS AND I HAVE A SUPER SMOOTH MACHINE
    until yesterday ,i was out shooting some movie and my cinestar was humming a bit like the motors wasent happy ??
    and the machin was shaking when the humming was going on
    Can it bee differents between summer and winter?
    yesterday it was about -4 outside
    the machine has been supersmooth all summer long?

    i fly stock setting on p-i but have rise the D=25

    Hi Kjetil:
    Can you post a short video clip to show this (preferably with audio).
    Also, were you using the standard red O-rings, and with all of them in the vibration isolators?

    higher Gyro D's can cause shaking/grumbling. Try it at 10-12 instead.

    Yes, too much D term can be problematic. The cold weather probably stiffened up the mounting for the FC and has created a feedback oscillation at the 'summer' PID tuning.
