    Rumored, but imminent.

    From http://www.43rumors.com/first-panasonic-gh4-images/

    The specs are
    - 16,05 Megapixel sensor. It’s a new sensor with semi-conductor protection tech to reduce noise and improved dynamic range.
    - quad core processor and venus Engine
    - ISO up to 25,600.
    - 12fps, 7,5 fps with continuous focusing
    - GH4 uses the new UHS I class III SD card format
    - Depth From Defocusing (uses Panasonic lens database to fine tune AF!)
    - AF as fast as 0.07 seconds. 49 AF points.
    - 4K video at 4096×2160 pixels and max frame rate of 96fps.
    - Bit rate of up to 200Mbp
    - Magnesium body
    - Price not unveiled yet
    - There is an optional Interface Unit (see image below). Has 2 XLR, 4 SDI, micro HDMi output, color bar signal, audio reference signal, external time control

The camera will be announced tomorrow (Friday Feb 7) at 4am London time! You can follow the announcement live here on 43rumors!

Pretty sure its max rate at 4K is 30 fps and HD 1080 96 fps. From what I have seen around in various places. Ya never know though until its official.
Still its going to be a great little camera for sure.

"Panasonic has said it won't be announcing pricing of the GH4 until near its (also unspecified) availability date. Despite the pro-level videography features, the company continues to describe it as a hybrid, consumer-accessible model, so while we wouldn't be surprised to see a price increase over the GH3, we don't expect it to cost vastly more than its predecessor."

Wow, amazing work, Bryan. That must have been exciting to work with the camera.
    Care to share any observations?

Thanks Steve. Yes, I was psyched to score the project. The prototype cameras were challenging to work with, and we had to overcome a lot to get our shots, but I'm sure all will be fine when they release it. I can give a better response tomorrow as I'm on the East Coast and its getting a bit late now for me!

Anyone know if the gh4 will work on the zenmuse gh3? I'm hoping it fits as that is what I currently fly. The gh4 uses micro hdmi instead of mini like the gh3, but I've already found a work around for that. My concern is wether the hdmi converter will work with it and how well it fits.

I'm a fan of the GH4. I like the size/form factor/weight of it. The Black Magic is nice but definitely pushes the weight and sake limit for the Mōvi M5 (if you are considering that route as well). Tabb posted a quick intro video of the M5 and the BMCC and he said it was about as close to the limit of a capable camera that they could fit.

I think the M5 and the GH4 are going to be an outstanding combo.
