    Hello,

We test a module that drifting,

to reproduce the problem we set up the assembly in this video.

For the roll axis there is no problem.

for the pan axis, the module is drifting from 90 ° in 5min.

The problem is that this happens even with a new module.

what can be done to test modules?

    Best regards

    David

Interesting setup. You can tell in the first video that the gains are low by the lag in the servo motion. Just an observation.

90 degrees in 5 min is some movement. Im not sure of your initialization procedure but everything should be still for the first few sec while it initializes.

Gain are a 75%, we tested 100% gains before, but it was too much.

David: How are you driving that servo, please? Just curious as to which model of servo tester you're using.

    Thanks
    Andy.

Wouldn't the results be very different under load?

Yes the Pan Radian will drift over time and the roll and tilt will not. This is normal behavior and will not be noticed during flight as the camera operator is giving pan inputs that negate the drift
