Has anyone made this upgrade for potential vibration perfomance improvements at high speed? I've still got the old gear but have not been able to find any commentary on whether there would be any aerodynamic induced improvements with the new gear. Seems plausible based on how they look and thinking about self induced wind, otherwise $350 seems like a lot for no real benefit.
There is a post somewhere that the new gear were introduced specifically to be more aerodynamic and reduce vibrations.
I noticed a huge improvement in pan stability when I started using the aero gear. It sucks to spend another $350 on the gear, but it does make a difference.
