    Here is an English translation (by Mrs. Google) of the Change Log:

    So with the new release of the MK software theoretically you should be able to download the GPX data via XBee/Bluetooth without having to remove the card. If that works it will eliminate a safety point of not having the card seated properly. Of course if you have the MK config file set to not flying without an SD card that wouldn't be a problem.

    That's correct, you can now hot glue (or tape) the microSD card into the NC board and just use a wireless means of downloading it -- although I think the MK USB/Cable method is probably more reliable.

    Is this release backward-compatible? Can it read the existing log formats? I'm waiting to upgrade my firmwares until after a couple big things I'm doing soon.

    Yup. As Gary says, it knows about the original "tags" in the GPX file.

    Just tried it out. Works great with the next-to-most-recent firmware. Seems more stable. The map tracking playback works way better.
