So i decided to try some new motors to get some more fligttime, i went whit the kw9 from koptorworx and some 15x5 propellers, and what a different! I got 13 min on a 6000 mHa 6s i -3 degrees and alot more lift. So i can really recomment this setup.
I was using the 3328 from quadrocopter and 14x4,7 APC props and i was only getting about 11 min on 11600mHA
Ill pick your brain a bit if you dont mind... What camera are you lifting? Are we talking about a hexa? Im on my way to convert my Mk Okto Xl in a heavy lifter. I need to remove MK ESC and dig some MOTOR-ESC-PROP that canb handle RED Epic..
Sure . Yes Its a hexa (cinestar 6) and Iam lifting a small nex5 camera, the hole setup is about 5kg For heavy lift i would go for the kw8 and 5s or the kw 10 and 6s and i have heard good things about the hercules III board, but Its pretty expensive, but then again så is the RED. ;-)
Impressive, Peter. Hey, trivial question: Where did you get that shoulder harness for the MC-32, please? Andy
Ohh sorry andy, but its not my video, i just wanted to show alex a setup with kw10 and hercules board
Oh, that's too bad. I found that the Graupner de-luxe neck strap for the MC-32 was way too long and this looks pretty neat. Anyone know who makes it? Andy.
Andy I think this is the belt from Kopterworx http://www.kopterworx.com/Belts/Transmitter-belt-cross since it is Matjaz flying.
Andy I got those items from them: http://secraft.net/shop/step1.php?number=1059 http://secraft.net/shop/step1.php?number=1064 http://secraft.net/shop/step1.php?number=1264 All awesome quality. and all aluminum Bill
Thanks, Gary. Certainly looks like it. Too bad it's out of stock....I'll monitor the web page.... Andy.
Thanks, Bill. I hope wearing that strap in Oregon is not illegal? It looks, well, interesting.... Andy.
Bill nice find. Those Secraft items look great. Great design. To bad they don't have anything for Graupners.
If I write them maybe they will produce it, you never know, those Chinese people are eager to work. I have those items and they are great. The quality is good. Bill
Foxtech has them also 15"-16"-17" they come 2 per pack. Cw and CCW http://www.foxtechfpv.com/1755-carbon-fiber-propeller-cwccw-p-692.html
Yes foxtech also have them,i am very happy with the perfomance in this props. chek out http://www.quadrocopter.com/Smart-Drones-P400CE-Propeller--CCW_p_681.html They look kind of interesting to. But for a heavy lifter i would go for some xoar propellers.
