I doing research on getting a M5, or a Ronin. The Ronin guy I talked to said that the Movi's all have horizon drift issue. I found that there was a incident of some having issue 6 months ago. I wondered if that issue was gone, dealt with or is there still one. Before I purchase one I need to know I wont be fighting the fight on this. I need to know factual facts on this one and what to expect.

    Thanks

All of the gimbals have horizon drift issues.

    BUT:

Since Movi has GPS integrated, it has less horizon drift than other options available. Ronin series are not in comparison with Movi for aerial filming. They loose horizon as soon as you pan and it will not come back.

As a user who tried all of the options available on the market, I can easily say that Movi is the best available option for aerial filming. Nothing comes close.
