I need help geo tagging or at least now to record the actual geo tag information for each picture I take during waypoint flying. I am using MK electronics to automatically fire the picture. I have it set to auto trigger every 10 meters but in the GPX tools its showing inaccurate information. ON one flight I shot 138 pictures but MK tools shows over 300 shutter count. I need to figure out a better way to be able to geo tag the pictures. I am using a 5D mark II is there any way to record the GEO TAG data?

Thanks guys! Sorry been tied up with jobs. The Canon unit looks good except that its made to fit on the cold shoe of the camera which is not possible when using the MOVI with the cage. Is anyone else using this unit or anything else?
Dave looks like you are SOL. Nothing on the web that I can see that tags the photos as they are taken. No other accy. output available. Time to buy another camera. My suggestion Hasselblad A5D.
Actually, Dave, it can use the 5D's USB port, too. Don't have to mount it on the shoe. You could rig something to place it on top of the MōVI's cage or somewhere similar. It says: "Hot Shoe or USB Terminal Connectivity"
Looks heavy...there's always gaffers tape or zip ties. BTW, despite what it looks like, this is NOT a standard USB cable. It uses an oddball proprietary mini USB connector on the puck end. It's the same cable that the WFT-E7A Wifi transceiver uses (which I use all the time). The cables are fragile and very hard to find. But I am sure if you buy the Canon device it comes with a cable. Two, probably (a short one and a long one).

Well it looks like this item only works with the 5D mark III I have a Mark II. For it to work it needs to have GPS menu settings to embed the pictures. I can just sync up the camera to the GPS clock in MK tools and then grab the geo tags that way. It's a little bit longer of a process but should work.
