Hi guys! In a couple a weeks i will do the big step and i will get a cinestar 8. My goal it to have the duo operator with the 360 gimbal with radian. Well i don't know if it a good idea to build it my self or have some help to build it. I've build a couple a thing like t-rex and a Dji f550 with succes!. I know it another thing to build a cinestar8, but do you think it a good idea to build myself... I know the existing of a build dvd for the cinestar8..is it a good DVD? if you have some tips please share! tks guys!
Alex: It all depends on how comfortable you are with reading documentation, researching things on the web, and soldering. If you're comfortable with that then it's a relatively easy build. I did built a kit C8 earlier this year with some frustration and, for me, a steep learning curve. I made a DVD set to try and help other people in the same situation. Several people have told me that they found it helpful. Andy.
Andy is an awesome person.. I haven't watched the DVD but just due to the amount of help he has provided on this forum I know the DVD would be a great help! There are a lot of people on here who are all here to help you out if you ever get stuck somewhere. Congrats on the purchase! It's one amazing machine! Josh
Not including the three months it took me to put the propellers on right, it took me a week to assemble the CS8. MOST of that time was spent hunting down and reading documentation, watching various build videos, and surfing the forums for tips. Mikrokopter's boards do not come documentation!!! Buy Andy's video; I haven't seen it myself, but I bet it will pay for itself. These videos will give you an idea of what it takes to build a CS8:
