My mx-20 mysteriously turned itself into a paper weight. When I power it on, I get a red led and a blank screen. I've tried: removing the battery for an extended period of time removing the SD card tried to enter the "hidden" menu by pressing the left side UP and DOWN keys along with the "SET" button tried reloading firmware the normal way - fails by not being able to communicate to the transmitter tried the emergency firmware reload - fails too searched as many forums as I can but unable to find a solution to this particular problem I'll call QC tomorrow, but was hoping someone here has seen this before and knows of a "fix". TIA, Mike
Is it conceivable that the battery is so low that the the LED will come on, but the voltage is below what is required to drive the logic boards? Just guessing -- but if this were to be the case, can you power it up with the AC adapter plugged in? Or after charging it for an hour? Andy.
Hmmm. Well, apart from check what Scott suggests, I'm not sure what I'd do next beyond what you were already planning to do, Mike. Andy.
Ordered a new radio (now I have a spare) and QC will RMA the dead one. I'm flying again. Thaniks for all of your support!
