Here is a custom mount I have made that fits a single section of Flyer Le steadicam arm to a 32mm Vertical tube.

On the other end it attached to the Freefly toad in the hole, to mount movi m5, m10, m15

I'll be testing it out next week, rigged up to my bicycle. Stay tuned.

worth noting, the mounting is made rigid by large grub screws that tighten up against the steadicam arm - you cant see them because they are inside.

Awesome!! It would be amazing and a steal to come up with a way to pan and tilt right off the arm. But that's a whole other thing I suppose.

I'm not sure I understand? It can pan and tilt... using the remote. Obviously no majestic mode.

That's what I was suggesting, panning and tilting in majestic mode while on the steady arm.
But your setup is great working via remote.

The whole idea of this mount is so that you can hard mount it to things. The back end will clamp onto any vertical tube with 30-32mm diameter. So you could rig this to a bike,car,wheelchair....

You could put the back end straight on the steadicam vest. then you do have ability to move side to side... but that isnt really what I made this for, I think there are other really good body harness solutions out there.
