Hi all, What is the lifepsan for a m5? I'm looking at a used one almost 2 years old that has been used regularly. Do I save $1,000 or buy a brand new one? Thanks for any help! Stan
That depends on how it was used. One of my M5 has been in use since it first came to the market and it had to go to service for maintainance even we take very good care of them. The bearings of motors have been replaced. Other than that, I can't see any reasons why electronics would fail unless it was not used harshly. I have purchased a second hand M10 a few months ago to save some dollars. The GPS antenna socket was broken and it was going nuts after powering it on. It had to go to service and the amount I was trying to save has been vanished at the service
