Has anyone had their M5 as carry on with American Airlines? Was there any issue?

    Thanks

Can you fit it in a case with padding that is small enough to be a carry on? I wanted mine to travel well protected with padding. The case I have is definitely way too big to be a carry on. The one that FreeFly sells also looks to big. I wouldn't want other peoples bags and rough handling to injure my Movi. I accepted it has to be a checked bag and bought a pelican case to hold it safely. I also got luggage locks to help keep out the honest people. So far its traveled twice by air without issue. Pelican cases live up to the name of being rugged.

It fits great into a pelican 1510 carry on case. I've also fit it in camera backpacks as well. I've travelled to a ton of different countries and never check it anymore. Also, if you cut the bunnies on the stand you can the stand inside as well.
