    Hi,

I want to connect my M15 to a jib via a Ninja Star. There doesn't appear to be enough clearance of the battery cages if I connect to the female Toad, how do I get around this? The Male Toad I have is attached to the crossbeam

Hi David, i don´t think i actually understand your problem. Are you planning to use the Ninja Star instead of the cross beam? Then you will need another male Toad and it works… I have Toads on all my gear and never run into a problem here?

    Best,

    Wolf

    Hi Wolf,

Yes, the Ninja Star will be used instead of the crossbeam to connect to a jib. I was wondering if I could connect without having to purchase another Male Toad. It would seem not.

Hi, nope, you would have to fabricate an adapter/spacer then. And would loose the quick-change capability…

    David,

Having that extra male toad + the ninja star will give you lots of options for mounting. Here's a setup we used for timelapse, but we have used a similar setup on jibs (upside down).
