Hey Andrew, Out of interest, have you tried rigging the C300's LCD/Audio unit with a cold shoe mount to the top of the rig? wondering if the cables are long enough? Would be handy as a Monitor and Xlr inputs for a wireless guid track.. Cheers Ben
Have not tried, but mainly because the cables are too short. You could do it, but you'll have an extremely limited range of movement. Would be EXTREMELY handy, but unfortunately don't think it'll work :/ Thinking about sticking a small mic on the hot shoe and tapping into the Mic (mini-jack) input on the side for reference audio.
