I just bought a new ALTA with the Movi 5. I am still in the learning stage so, please bear with me. My question is: can you charge the Movi5 battery with the Hyperion battery charger the came with the system? or you must use the charger that came in the Movi5 box? I presume since it is a Lipo charger it should not be a problem, right? Thanks for any advice.
Yes, you can use a Hyperion charger. The charger has to be set for "4S" and the capacity is 1300 mAh. I charge mine at 2.6A, but you can take the default of 1.3A. It'll just take a bit longer. You can use the charge cable that comes with the MōVI charger. Just make sure you connect the charger cable to the charger first before you connect it to the battery. Otherwise your MōVI battery can become a very small arc welder.
