    Hi Everyone,

We are trying to mount our RR MR and our Terdak Bolt 300 to our Movi 5 with a Canon 5d mark 3. Does anyone have any ideas on how or where to mount these extra goodies and keep movements clean? The back plate and battery cage would take everything great but then the movements are restricted by the handles on wide turns. We could keep the Movi mounted to the Movi Ring but it would be nice to find a config. that would work with the out of the box set up. One other option we have come up with is to replace the cross arm handle with the longer M10 model carbon fiber arm to allow clearance on all sides. Thank you to anyone that can help any advice would be greatly appreciated, we have learned a lot these past couple of weeks and we are happy to share anything we can to help.

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

If anyone is curious this is the part you need to attach the Redrock Microremote to the Movi 5 since the hotshot is now occupied by the Movi.

freefly are out of stock for 2 weeks but I thought I would throw it out there for anyone who is working on this set up. Here is another way to go if you are in a hurry you can mount this between the camera and the Movi mounting plate. We don't know if it will work but we just ordered it up. http://woodencamera.com/Canon/Rail-Components-Canon/Rod-Clamp-15mm-LW.html
    Good luck everyone

It has been a couple weeks of education but as of today we ran our first tests with our Movi 5, Canon 5d Mark 3, Teradek Bolt 300, Redrock Microremote, and our Movi controller all paired and running smooth as silk. If anyone has any questions that we can help with please feel welcome to drop us a line. It was a little lesson in patience but as of 4 p.m. today we are fully operational. :) P.S. The part we ordered on our previous post has worked out great for adding a rail but we had to go to the slightly longer version also available on wooden camera.
    Cheers,
    Jonathan
