I was told in another thread that mounting a 4k recorder to the movi would be easier than mounting it to the Alta 6.
How would one mount a recorder, like the pix e5 (Power Source EXT DC (10-34V), (optional) 2x Sony L-mount batteries; Weight 1 lb (16 oz); Dimensions (WxHxD) 5.4 in x 3.4 in x 1.6 in (137.1 mm x 86.3 mm x 40.6 mm)) to the Movi m5 for aerial use?

    Hi Ben:
I infer that you'd also need to mount a camera to M5, right? So the question really is how to attach a camera AND a recorder?

I also infer that you don't want to attach the recorder to the camera somehow (which would perhaps be the cleanest way but not necessarily the most practical), so I suspect you would need to find a way to mount the recorder to either the left or right horizontal booms to which the M5 MR's legs are attached. The challenges would be to do so in a way that doesn't knock the gimbal hopelessly out of balance, or foul the motion of the gimbal as it pans, tilts, or rolls.

I'm hoping that one of the forum members might have actually solved this problem -- I certainly have not, but I can see the challenges.
