CS6 HL (6s power tiger 4012's and 15x5 xoar beachwoods) totals about 16-22 lbs depending on what we are doing. I run Dual batteries for all my rigs and for this one I am testing various sizes at the moment of 6s, finding the 8000's I have are the most "efficient". All weights assume dual 10k's

For the recent shoot we did it was 20.15 with an XA 25 and Teradek Bolt 2000 on the M5.

A7s, M5 Teradek clip the scale says 18.5 with batteries (that includes the downlink battery)

A7r, two axis photography gimbal 16 even with batteries

for funsies when the GF wants to go fly I pull the gimbal and we race the Coax MK prototype vs the flat hex~ at that point I run a pair of 6600's and the weight is around 8.5 lbs and it is FAST. The Coax (Y config) has a cornering edge and weight edge (it comes in at 7.8) but has some stability issues due to my want of a smaller rig for hiking and 350 booms over 400's. 400's are in the mail and I think that should solve the issue.

I would not go much over 22 with this (that's running a FS700 specific use thing we do for a client) as the amp draw per motor starts to hit 10 or so. It is based on QC's CS hex HL.

    Hey Ryan,

Just curious how you mount 2 10k batteries on your cs6?

If not too much too ask would you mind showing some pics when you have some spare time?

    Best regards

    Matt

    Just like that. Menlo hex.jpg

This is a CS6 HL with tiger 4012's and Bl3.0 running 6s power.

    Thanks for that Ryan.

Seems like a very efficient setup.

    Great flight times!

Ryan: Is that the Secraft tray on the MC-32?

    Thanks
    Andy.

No, I wish it was. I got the MK one just to test it out and while I like it, the cost is crazy. Flying a Jeti DC-16 now and love it due to just about any tray/monitor combo working with it with ease.

Ryan I know you know and I know I already mention this before but seeing those cone nuts on your motors just scares the H out of me

I like em honestly. I just keep a wrench in my pocket and snug em up every flight (takes 10 full 20+ minute flights for them to get loose). Switched over to Tiger 16 CF's, Xoar 16's and a set of the QC batwings for efficiency testing. Xoars are still in the lead and the 15x5's get me the best load to amp draw to flight time ratios.

I was wondering about those Batwing props vs Xoars and TM Carbon
