    Looking for some help in wiring up the MK Double Quadro V3 Cool in an X8 config on a Cinestar 8 frame, 4 booms.

    Did some digging and came up with the following:

    [IMG]

    Wiring:

    Motor 1 => Controller 1 (A: Gr, B: Bl, C: Sw)
    Motor 2 => Controller 2 (A: Green, B: Bl, C: Sw)
    Engine 3 => Controller 3 (A: Bl, B: Gr, C: Sw)
    Engine 4 => Controller 4 (A: Bl, B: Gr, C: Sw)
    Engine 5 => Controller 5 (A: Gr, B: Bl, C: Sw)
    Engine 6 => Controller 6 (A: Gr, B: Bl, C: Sw)
    Engine 7 => Controller 7 (A: Bl, B: Gr, C: Sw)
    Engine 8 => Controller 8 (A: Bl, B: Gr, C: Sw)

    This was one config I was able to pull off the German wiki for MK.

    Yet I also see another:

    Stumped at the moment on how to move ahead.

    Derek: I suspect that you could use either one provided that:
    1. The motors on a given boom rotate in opposite directions.
    2. The Mixer table is correct for the configuration.

    If you're curious about Mixer tables I found quite a good description:
    Gas- All motors that are used get +64. Motors that are not used get 0 for all their settings.

    Pitch (Nick)- Draw a picture of your copter, [I think he means a plan view from above. Andy] then draw a horizontal line through the center. Every motor that is above the line [That is, towards the front of the copter. Andy] gets +64. Every motor below the line gets -64. If the motor is on the line, then it gets 0.

    Roll- Draw a vertical line through the center of the picture. Every motor on the left side of the line [The left hand side of the copter. Andy.] gets +64. Every motor on the right side of the line gets -64. Every motor on the line gets 0.

    Yaw- Every prop that turns clockwise when looking down at it gets +64. Every prop that turns counter clockwise gets -64.
    If you follow the above rules, you will be able to make a mixer table for any configuration you want to try

    PS- Technically, not all numbers should be +-64. When this came out, they said to make them proportional to the distance the motor was from the center line. When you look through the pre-defined options, you'll see that they use +-64 for everything. I've tried it both ways, and if anything, I think it works better using +-64 than trying to make them proportional.

    That said, I've only ever used the standard ones built into MK Tool.

    Andy.
