While updating the Mimic Firmware (Mimic v1.4) it got interrupted causing the upload to cancel. Now it is not able to connect to the Android App. I know that the Movi can get bricked and require the jumper cable to complete the download, however I have not been able to find any information on how I should be using the jumper cable to get the Mimic to be able to reconnect. Was just wondering if anyone has heard of a solution to this. I didn't want to try and wing it as I figured it might make problems worse. Thanks
Chris: I'd suggest you open up a ticket by emailing to support@freeflysystems.com -- I don't think I've seen anyone report this problem before on the forum (I might be mistaken, but...) Andy
The jumper cable is used in exactly the same way than on the Mōvi. Just unplug the Mimic transmitter and plug in the cable instead. In fact the Mimic seems to be the Mōvi controlbox with just a different firmware. ;-) Best Wolf
