Quick question. Is it possible to use the majestic mode for panning and allow a remote operator to control tilt? Can the two modes be combined in any way?
On the remote when it is in Majestic mode you have control of tilt. Carrier is still controlling pan. Switch to full remote and the remote is controlling both tilt and pan.
Yep! Works indeed. Has anyone encountered high frequency oscillation of the tilt motor when one uses the remote to hold a tilt up? The rig seems to do fine as I am tilting up and well at some angles. But beyond around 40-50 degrees I start getting vibration in the gimbal that progressively gets worse as I increase, or hold the tilt.
fixed it. Using the android app with the graphs really helps to understand which gimbal is oscillating and correct it. Floats at any angle now.
