This M5 battery ran out and the Mōvi turned itself off today. I've put it on charge and Im getting this flashing from the charger... I'm ordering a LiPo checker right now, but has anybody experienced this before?
I suspect it's trying to tell you that the LiPo was over-discharged and can no longer be charged. When you get the LiPo checker, see what the four different cell voltages are. I suspect one or more will be significantly lower than they should be. Andy.
Thanks Andy, Out of interest is there anything that can be done to save the battery if what you say has happened?
Mike with another charger like a Powerlab or Hyperion you might be able to revive it since you can control the charge rate better on those types of chargers. Do get a a lipo checker. It will give you the voltages for each of the cells. 3.2 to 3.0 might be resuscitated, below 3.0 it has gone to the lipo happy hunting grounds...
Mike: Do a Google search for: reviving a dead lipo Sometimes you can do it. Sometimes you cannot. (Or as they say in Texas, I gather, "sometimes you're the dog, sometimes you're the bush....") Andy.
