    Wow, that´s clever!!!!
I´ve been working on something like this for quite some time, but haven´t had any real success. I love it. Would you mind sharing some details on how you made the handgrip fit?
    Thanks for sharing btw!!!

Hi Tsuyoshi, the video looks great, and while I think the MōVI is already incredibly stable, your setup would be great for longer shots or prolonged use. I will definitely keep this setup in mind.

    Thanks for sharing!

This is by far the best use of a steadicam vest/arm I've seen yet. Tsuyoshi, do you have any more detailed pictures of your setup?
    Thanks for sharing!

Tsuyoshi, very cool. Definitely a great setup to save your shoulders after trying to hold that M10 our in front of you all day.

Have you had any success with majestic tilting in this setup?

Great work! Could I try to use this if I go to your company? Also I'm interested in what your company is doing as a grip.

That is one Incredible setup Tsuyoshi!

Did you have to fabricate anything to make this work with your arm? Or did the Glidecam pin fit right into the Carbon Fiber rod for the handle?

    Footage test is amazing.

That's a real weapon. Had to loosen the springs all the way, and made a carbon-adapter rod to 16mm.

"Parking" and balancing on a c-stand. No more hurting arms and hands, back, well, is working more now.

But fast and slow moves over 5 min. are no problem any more ;-).

    Thanks Tsuyoshi!

    Best,

    Wolf

    Ps. Footage will follow...

    Wolf,
That looks good. Looking forward to seeing footage. Now it's your turn to share details. What does your adapter rod look like? Are you using the Glidecam pin extension? I had forgotten how big that Glidecam X22 arm is, but it works well.

The Adapter rod is a simple carbon tube with two carbon and teflon (PTFE) inserts, to adapt to the 16mm diameter of the Glidecam pin. I am lucky to have several spare clamps, rods and other parts from my former Cinestar remote heads . I don´t need the pin extension for the Glidecam, but have another adapter for the Tiffen arm, with a 19 mm pin, which is much longer. The Tiffen arm is the better option since it can be tuned more sensitively and is much smaller i diameter.

    Best,

    Wolf
