Hi Chris, we settled on using a Pelican case. After reviewing many different options, we were able to find a great Pelican case that accomodates the Movi M10 fully-assembled with at least 1" of foam padding all the way around the device. Best part is that its small and light enough to carry with one hand. We will be posting updated photos later this week, but however, I should note that we are very busy filling the pre-orders for the Movi case, so we may not get to photos right away. I will post some photos of our other cases so you can get an idea of the type of quality that we put into our laser-cut cases.
Jason, Sounds like you guys have already finalized your case design, but now that I finally have an M10, there are 2 features I would love to see from your case. 1. The ability to pack the M10 in the case without returning the tray to it's initial position. Right now, the foam from Freefly only accepts the MoVI in it's initial packing state, so every time the M10 goes back in the foam, it needs to be completely rebalanced, even if you're using the same camera. 2. This one may be tough, but I'd love to have this case be small enough to carry on a flight. God only knows what TSA will do to the MoVI when they see it. With the exception of the crossbar being really long, I feel like there's a chance this could work.
The Movi case has been completed and orders have begun shipping out. Those of you who have pre-ordered will begin receiving tracking numbers. Professional photos will be taken later this week and we will post them on the forum as promised. We have also designed a small accessory that adds functionality to your Movi. For our pre-order customers, we will be including this item for FREE. It will arrive in a separate box because production for this accessory will begin later this week.

Jason, what's the extra accessory you were hinting at? Love the case by the way, I will be ordering mine very soon. I'm curious how there's room for the case to close with the top handle attached?
Thanks for asking Jonathan. As a matter of fact, your questions are inter-related. The accessory we'll be shipping with these cases allows for added functionality of the handle, and will allow it to fit into tighter spaces, while maintaining its original form factor. Just an added little bonus.

We just placed our order, the case looks great on spec and on the pictures. We're really looking forward to paring it with our Movi. I also want to give Jason some props. He has been extremely fast and helpful to reply to our emails.

Yes, the insert looks sexy indeed. Is that a Pelican 1650? Will you be selling the foam insert separately for those of us that have a few spare Pelican cases already?
