    Hi Guys,

Have you ever met that there could only use one screw on the plate that connect M10 with Canon C300?

anyways, the best is have two screws to firm the camera and m10.

Is there screws and what is the length could how to solve it?

    Best,

    Chenkang

Chenkang welcome to the forums. Would you be kind enough to change your user name to your real first name and last name, please? The reasons for this (and how to do it) are explained here: http://forum.freeflysystems.com/index.php?threads/real-names.497/.

You might try using a 3/8 to 1/4-20 insert that many camera stores sell. That would screw into the 3/8 spot and then you would use the normal 1/4-20 screws from Freefly to attach the rail.

    Thanks, Gary.

the problem is i screw into the 1/4-20 screws from Freefly into the top mount of C300.

there counldn't screw into any screws...as the left and right photo showed. others are blocked or misplace from the C300.

    Hi Gary,

As the middle photos shows upon. there has two screw on Canon C300.

But as the right photo shows, the plate from Freefly cannot match the position of C300's screw.

we use one screw on C300 with M10, but it would be loosen after we use for a while.

    how to solve this...???

My solution to using a single screw is to put a few layers of electrical tape on the top of the MoVI plate and crank the camera down into it. The rubbery texture will hold on very well despite only having one screw.

Yu, Chris has a good solution. If the holes in the camera plate don't line up for you then the only other solution would be to contact support@freeflysystems.com and ask them if they have any other solutions that they can offer.

Ok sorry for raising a really old thread but just in case someone wonders here looking for and answer, you purchase the M15 adjustment plate (lots M10 fine) and use a 3/8 to 1/4-20 insert as Gary mentioned. I'm using this for my C200 which has the same Tripod plate on the camera.
