MōVI M5 Mobile Kit with iPhone 6 and External Monitor

    I am excited to use my MoVI M5 Mobile kit tomorrow with my iPhone 6 and just tested it and was able to send the video camera signal (240 fps) via Apple Lighting Digital A/V Adapter and an HDMI cable to a SmallHD DP4 and DP7 which mounts at eye level on the MoVi M5. Pretty exciting!

    This setup looks great! Are you using the iphone as a monitor too?

    It's a little hard to see the entire iPhone screen when it is held in the M5 Mobile kit -- the center part is obscured by the mounting clamp, so Jonathan's approach is a good one.

    Yeah, thanks Andy. Nicolas, the set-up is exactly because you can't really use the iPhone screen to frame (use as a monitor), I am using the SmallHD DP4, DP6 or DP7....next time it's set up for a shoot, I will try and grab a BTS image for you to see.
