Hey guys! Does anyone have any good suggestion for a mini mic solution for the Canon C500? I want to at least record just some scratch audio so it would be easier to sync and it's always good to record nat sound when possible! Thanks! Neil
Unfortunately the C500 along with the 100/300 do not supply voltage to the 3.5mm mic input socket, so the pic Jason has put up may be good for Epic/Scarlet and just about any other camera, it will not work for the C series. The best solution I have found is something like this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/171176818391?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Needs to have voltage.
Lead to a dead link. I’m setting up a shotgun Mic attached to top of the ring.... ? Will that just transmit MōVI pro motor noise to my images? Can do boom also but I am trying to create a movie pro run and gun. having a steep learning curve. Trying to figure out sound transmission to camera while in MōVI pro. Help! Haha
