Morning everyone. Recently, I had a meeting to shoot photo and video of high profile historic sites...six in total. These are very well known sites that attract thousands of visitors yearly, and visitors are charged between $15 and $50 to tour the properties. In addition, they also asked for coverage of special events where tickets range between $200 and $500 to attend. During the meeting, the conversation of licensing rights came up. The intended use of the photos are for web, pamphlets and other promotional material (free handouts) but will also be used in books and dvd's that this historic society sells for profit. The video will also be used in the dvd's and possibly part of tv commercials as promotional advertising. I was wondering if anyone has experience or information regarding the different licensing use charges. Thanks!
