Is it me or does the iOS app seem pointless with all the limitations it has on the Movi Controller. - Firmware updates can’t be done using the iOS dongle. - The Radio Type must be set to a value different than MōVI Controller prior to using the iOS App - The iOS App can not be used to adjust parameters on the Mimic. So you’d have to connect to the MoVi with a PC or Mac or Tablet first to Change the Radio Type so you can then connect with the iOS app… if I have to do that then I’d just stick with the PC, Mac or Tablet. Also with the WiFi dongle, how would you turn off WiFi before flying on a multi-rotor to ensure the Wifi doesn’t bring down the craft?
I'm hoping that these limitations are just something temporary. Alot of times newly released products have certain limitation at first, and then the manufacturer is quick to correct the problems and publish updates which increase functionality.
