Question. I have a 2C 1900 to power Radians, Servos and Iftron. Right now I have a BEC wired on after the Lipo which is delivering 5.8 Volts. My TX does not seem to work. Doesn't even get warm. I have a feeling that with this setup that the Stinger is under powered. I' ll be moving over to 3C here in the next week but in the meantime could that be the problem? Do I need to feed the Stinger off the Lipo directly prior to the BEC?
You're underpowered. I split my LiPo into two leads. One goes to the BEC, which in turn feeds the Radians. The other lead goes to my Iftron TX. It can't run on 5.1V. See the manual here:
Steve I thinks it's more than that. Before I went to set today I wired the Iftron directly to a 2c which was reading 8+ volts. Set up the Nano receiver, hooked everything up and nothing. The TX didn't even get warm. I read the lead ins to the TX from the batt and it was getting the 8 volts. I just think it's a bad unit.
By the way how's life in Half Moon Bay? Met a girl from there once, was supposed to marry her and turned into a real ugly story. Such a shame.
Mark, I'm sorry your story turned bad. Ours is quite good. Only been here 6 months, but we absolutely adore it here. Really nice town.
It's funny...not so foggy anymore. Very beautiful weather for the six months we've been here. Global warming has shifted the climate . And GoPro moved over the hill. Got too big!
