Chris: Well done -- it's a chain of things, all of which have to be set correctly. Certainly the DSMX change will have been critical -- that controls the signalling protocol used by the transmitter. The MōVI only responds to DSMX 2048. For the morbidly curious, there's a write up on the geeky technical details at http://www.cgsy.com.au/archives/215 Thereafter it's just a case of mapping the transmitters RC channels to the channels used by the MōVI. The left stick moving left/right is Channel 4 so changing roll trim from -4 to 0 disables channel for from being used from roll trim (there is no channel 0), and changing remote pan from -2 to -4 means "use channel 4 for for remote pan, but (because of the minus sign), reverse the direction in which the MōVI moves with respect to the transmitter stick."
