Hi everyone.. I just received my Movi M5 and I'm not sure which 'mode' it's in.. I do not have the remote control.. Only the M5 I started up the Configurator on my Mac and connected to the Movi via Bluetooth and set the Pan/Tilt/Roll stiffness.. All good. But is the M5 in Majestic Mode? How do I tell? How do I change Modes? When Using the Movi, the PAN will follow but the TILT does not follow me.. I want to be able to point the handles of the Movi up and down and have the TILT follow me.. I am using the latest Convigurator version which I just downloaded.. Could it be that I am in 'Smooth Lock' mode? If so then how do I get into 'Majestic Angle' mode? From what I can see there is no way too change modes in my Configurator.. On my Mac.. -Frank
If your radio control is off, the system is definitely in majestic mode If your radio is on but set to 'majestic', likewise. If you can control the pan on the rig but not the tilt, either: the tilt window is very wide (like over 90 perhaps) or, you've got the tilt mode in 'lock' which means only the remote control can affect tilt. Change the tilt mode to 'majestic'.
