Hey everyone, super excited to start using the video robot!

I just got the Hoodie today and am intending to use it to attach the Rode Videomic pro. However a reducer bushing adapter is required but I do not know which one to purchase. Could someone please help by providing a link to the exact item that I should buy?

    Cheers!

You can either use a cold shoe adapter, as mentioned above, or a 3/8 16 to 1/4 20 reducer. Install the reducer into the mic and then attach to the Hoodie.

As I understand it, these mikes come with a cold shoe adapter that incorporates a 3/8”-16 screw hole. As Giovanni says, one way to address this is to use a 3/8”-16 to 1/4”-20 reducing bushing. If I understand, your solution is to replace the whole cold shoe adapter with one that incorporates a 1/4”-20 screw hole instead. Not sure I would have thought of that. Good idea; reducing bushings have a way of walking off, never to be seen again :)
